I have visited Amsterdam on five separate occasions and have found difficulty in capturing successful street images each time. I feel that I must, however, as Amsterdam is undoubtedly one of the most surreal environments on earth.
The place feels muted and dazed as do so many of its occupants. This is reflected in an urban environment which, to me, seems to be a separate dimension from any other I have experienced.
