| The recent political climate in Thailand has been a volatile one. In scenes similar to many countries coming to terms with a capitalist democracy, there has been a massive backlash from the public against a Prime Minister apparantly too heavily involved in big business, and himself apparantly far detached from the economic realities of many Thai citizens.
